1.  Barely 24 hours after Pakistan agreed with India that there were will be no mortar shelling on each other, troops from the other side fired mortar bombs along the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir in a fresh ceasefire violation killing a BSF officer. 

2. Three years ago India was the weakling of the emerging markets clan, politically stagnant and struggling to grow — but as gloom engulfs other developing economies, the subcontinent is enjoying a moment in the sun.
